Top 10 OTPs Picspam

Everyone else is doing it so I figured I would kill some time by doing it too.

1. List your top ten ships
2. Put all of them in order of your love for them; 10 to 1, 1 being your favourite.
3. Name their fandom.
4. Supply photos for said people.

I tried to keep these as canon-y as possible because I ship a lot of random couples that would never have a chance in canon. Also, this order moves around all the time depending on what my obsession is. Right now? I'm all over JP/Craig. Like... insanely.

10. Guy/Caroline - Green Wing

I love Green Wing because it is so random and yet hysterically funny. Guy is a complete asshole who grosses everyone out and Caroline is the new doctor who he slowly falls in love with and becomes a better person for. It's adorable and done in an amazing way. I like to pretend the special never happened.

9. Bridget/Mark - Bridget Jones' Diary

Bridget Jones is totally my go-to movie when I'm feeling low or happy or content or upset or angry. I love it. Watching these two get together mirrors Lizzy/Darcy from Pride and Prejudice perfectly. I especially love it because she is just so normal and plain and he likes her, just the way she is.

8. Mulder/Scully - X-Files

Who doesn't ship these two? This is where shipping began and over the years it was done so subtley (almost too subtle at times) that watching them grow to like and love one another is brilliant. Mulder's crazy theories are always contested by Scully's down to earth rationale. Love them.

7. Jack/Kate - Lost

If I had my way, Kate wouldn't exist and Sawyer and Jack would spend their time doing naughty things in the jungle. But alas, Kate does exist and Jack is her rock. They have stood by each other since the pilot and in the flashforward we see Jack propose which in my opinion, shows they do infact truley love each other and once Jack has worked through his issues, she'll be waiting for him.

6. Spike/Buffy - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

You never forget your first OTP and this was mine. I even scribbled down fanfiction for these two in my diary about 7 years ago. I really dig the whole hatred turning to lust turning to love thing. (It's a pretty recurring theme throughout my ships). She did learn to love him... eventually. He may not be Angel but he fell in love with her WITHOUT a soul. That is true love people.

5. Brian/Justin - Queer as Folk

I totally stumbled upon this show while lurking peoples livejournals. It's amazing. It's like all the slash I've read put onto the screen. Brian is the most beautful man I have ever set eyes on and it's so adorable watching him begrudgingly accept this kid into his life. I firmly believe the last episode was not the end for these two. I do. I really, really do.

4. Elizabeth/Darcy - Pride and Prejudice

I'm using the 1995 version because to me it is the true version. The film was OK but when I imagine Lizzy and Darcy, Colin and Jennifer come to mind. This is the ultimate love story. Who doesn't want a Darcy to fall in love with them? Or walk up to you with a soaking wet white shirt? *drools*

3. John Paul/Craig - Hollyoaks

ZOMG CRAIG IS BACK AND THEY'RE GOING TO GET THEIR SUNSET ENDING AND IT'S GOING TO BE PERFECT. (I hope) I love these two because out of all the ships I ship, there two are the most real. They're just two average guys who happen to be best friends and then slowly but surely fall in love with one another. It's so... normal and real and beautiful. They better end up together after waiting a year for Craig to return.

2. Barney/Robin - How I Met Your Mother

Season 4 is almost heeeeere. I totally didn't see this pairing coming. It was a few episodes before sandcastles in the sand that I saw spoilers and it just clicked. They're so unbelievably perfect together because they're Bros. He's awesome... and she is equally awesome. I hope S4 will take their relationship to another level. Barney FTW!

1. 10/Rose - Doctor Who

Their love survives through different dimentions and universes. He burnt up a sun just so he could say goodbye. I'm in a minority but I don't think the Doctor loves all his companions the same. He was IN love with Rose rather than loving her like a sister aka Donna. I loved the end of S4 because they effectively get to spend the rest of their lives together. I do think the Doctor she got left with is more her Doctor than the one in the tardis which leaves me content.

Pride and Prejudice (1995) Picspam

I was procrastinating (like usual) and decided to do a picspam of some of my favourtie Lizzy/Darcy scenes from the BBC adaption of Pride and Prejudice.

Lizzy/Darcy. Not Dial-up safe.

Elizabeth: For a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.

Mr Darcy: She is tolerable, I suppose. But she is not handsome enough to tempt me.
Bingley, I am in no humour to give consequence to young ladies who are slighted by other men.
Go back to your partner and enjoy her smiles. You're wasting your time on me.

Mr Darcy: Miss Bennet!
Elizabeth: Mr Darcy! I am come to enquire after my sister.
Mr Darcy: On foot?
Elizabeth: As you see. - Would you be so kind as to take me to her?

I really adore this scene because of Darcy's tiny smile and the way he seems to so admire her for being different.

Mr Darcy: I believe every disposition has a tendency to some particular evil
Elizabeth: Your defect is a propensity to hate everyone.
Mr Darcy: And yours is wilfully to misunderstand them.

Elizabeth: I believe we must have some conversation, Mr Darcy. A very little will suffice. - You should say something about the dance perhaps. - I might remark on the number of couples.

Couldn't have a picspam without the infamous white shirt scene.

The best love story ever told in my very humble opinion. I've read the book about 7 times and watched this TV adaption of it...like a few million times. It's so amazing and it never gets old.

Jack and Sawyer Picspam

Lost: Jack + Sawyer Picspam

I figured I'd actually post on my own journal for once. I never do. I'm much more of a lurker.

Anyway, I think some people's Jawyer love is fading so this it to remind people why these 2 are sexy apart and OMGFANGIRLSQUEESOSEXY together.

Spoilers to 4x12

Ok, so I was basically busy not revising for my upcoming uni exams and I started going through my old files and found lots of pics from when Jawyer was my OTP. So, I figured I may aswell procrastinate longer by creating a picspam. It may break your internet but they're both pretty enough to help numb the pain. I didn't include every scene with them in but I included my faves.

I travel a lot and I'm constantly on planes but I have yet to find a plane load of people with men that good looking on it.
Maybe I'm on the wrong routes.

Only Josh Holloway can make being tortured look hot.

How cute were season 1 Jack and Sawyer? It was a simpler time.

This scene was just so perfect and made me want to hug them both to death. If Jack ever needs a shoulder to cry on.... mine is free. As is my bed.

Hurt!Sawyer and Doctor!Jack. Be still my fangirl heart. I really wanted a scene with Jack washing him because I'm a pervert

It is so obvious they want to rip each others clothes off have a lot of unsaid respect for each other.

Iwillnotmakemangojokesiwillnotmakemangojokesiwillnotmakemangojokes. Just look at the way they stare at each other. UST city.

I swear, when they started undressing to get in that water... I think my brain exploded.

They were totally using their eyes as a silent way of making plans to meet up in a tent later. Don't believe me? Watch it again. No? Trust me, they were.

I think this scene really shows that if they were under different circumstances, they could just possibly be boyfriends good friends.

Shepherd/Ford 08. If I crashed with them, I would probably stalk them both. A lot. I'd be sitting in that long grass with a flask and binoculars, taking pictures of their asses for my shrine back at the beach.

And because out of character, they are still sexy as hell.
